Mondays Off

Vocal group Monday Off is an exciting unique new voice in the world of vocal jazz. The group’s members - Amy Cervini, Melissa Dye, Richard Roland, Raymond Sage – successfully combine the sounds of the vocal groups of the big-band era with Broadway sensibilities and contemporary harmonies adapting tunes from the Broadway stage to their harmonic styles.

Monday Off has become a regular fixture on the New York City club scene in addition to their performances in larger concert halls across the country including Carnegie Hall with Skitch Henderson and the New York Pops, The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, the San Angelo Symphony and The Erie Philharmonic. Monday Off recently made their television debut on ABC World News Now performing Christmas tunes from their debut album with Bucky Pizzarelli that was released in 2001. The long awaited follow-up to this album was released in 2006 to critical acclaim.

Two orchestral Pops sets are available: Broadway Jazz (incl. Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, 42nd Street, Where Is Love?, Surrey with the Fringe on Top) and Christmas Time is Here (incl. Baby It’s Cold Outside, Drummer Boy, White Christmas, Santa Baby.)
